OPPO has launched the new Enco Clip2 open earbuds in New Zealand, combining advanced acoustic engineering and intelligent call technology with a distinctive ear cuff-inspired design.
Setting a new benchmark for what open-ear audio can offer, the Enco Clip2 features dual dynamic drivers, dual DAC architecture and professional tuning from Danish audio specialist Dynaudio – all delivered at a highly competitive price.
The microphone system features a bone-conduction microphone and advanced AI-powered noise reduction technology – all designed to improve call clarity in noisy environments. The open-ear design also allows users to stay aware of their surroundings while listening, making the earbuds well suited to exercise and outdoor use.
OPPO New Zealand Managing Director Morgan Halim says the Enco Clip2 demonstrates how far open-ear audio technology has evolved. “Some open-ear earbuds have traditionally required compromises in sound quality, privacy and call performance,” he says. “The Enco Clip2 was designed to challenge those assumptions. It combines great sound, smart features and a distinctive design to offer a premium listening experience while keeping you connected to the world around you.”
Engineered for better open-ear audio
To deliver the best sound experience possible within the open-ear format, the Enco Clip2‘s dual dynamic driver system comprises 11mm and 9mm drivers that are powered by independent dual DACs.
This architecture allows low and high frequencies to be handled separately, delivering deeper bass, improved detail and more accurate sound reproduction across the frequency range.
OPPO also partnered with Danish audio specialist Dynaudio to tune the earbuds, and the exclusive Dynaudio Signature mode is designed for balanced, natural and expressive sound.
Advanced call technology
The Enco Clip2 has a strong focus on voice communication, an area where many open-ear earbuds can struggle, and features OPPO’s Crystal-Clear Bone Calls technology, powered by a bone-conduction VPU microphone and AI-powered noise reduction. Designed to help isolate speech from background noise, the system works to improve voice clarity and maintain stable call quality in noisy environments.
Whether users are taking calls, exercising or moving between meetings, the technology is designed to help keep conversations clear and intelligible. And while one of the common concerns with open-ear audio products can be sound leakage, Enco Clip2 incorporates OPPO’s Dipole Sound Field Technology which uses carefully controlled rear sound waves to minimise audio leakage and reduce the amount of sound heard by people nearby.
Designed for comfort and durability
The Enco Clip2 weighs just 5.2 grams per earbud and its shape-memory nickel-titanium arc has been designed to adapt naturally to different ear shapes while maintaining a stable fit.
This ergonomic design was developed using research involving more than 3,500 ear profiles to help distribute pressure evenly and improve long-term comfort. The earbuds are also built to handle everyday use, with IP55-rated dust and water resistance helping protect against sweat, dust and light rain.
Smart features for everyday use
The Enco Clip2 includes a range of software-powered features designed for convenience and productivity.
Users can connect to two devices simultaneously, activate their preferred voice assistant, quickly launch Spotify and remotely control their smartphone camera. AI-powered translation features also support real-time multilingual communication, making the earbuds useful for both travel and work.
The OPPO Enco Clip2 is available in New Zealand for $399, exclusively through oppostore.co.nz
